The owners of this historic West End Victorian in Aspen commissioned Menendez Architects for the addition of a new master bath, remodel of the master suite, and the addition of a new dining room and kitchen to the guesthouse on the adjoining lot. Accomplished in two phases, including the Historic Preservation Committee approval process, the over-all design features clean lines with an emphasis on interior flow and function. Warmth is achieved via rich materials and textures inside and out, and plenty of natural light contributes to a fitting environment for the owner’s collection of contemporary art.
